Math class is about to get a whole lot more interesting. Pacman, the classic arcade game, is now available for the TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator! The game features smooth graphics and gameplay. Game ported by MateoConLechuga.
The TI-84 calculator is an advanced machine commonly used in both classrooms and workrooms for doing high-level computations. The TI-84 is multifaceted and can run a variety of other programs. While some may opt to load games and other programs from the Web, the TI-84 already comes preloaded with a few non-mathematical functions that you can use. TI-Boy CE is a Game Boy emulator for the TI-84 Plus CE and the TI-83 Premium CE graphing calculators. Currently only the original Game Boy is supported, no Game Boy Color (and never Game Boy Advance). This emulator is currently in the alpha state, so while it is intended to be stable, it is possible that it could crash and cause data loss. For most people here, you can pick up a used TI-84 for around $80, which, when considering multi-year usage, isn't really so bad. Hell, a person can pick up a TI-83 Plus for about $45 used, and that has gotten me through higher level math courses fine.
Installing Pacman
Once you download the game using the button below, you will need to send it using a program called TI Connect CE. If you don’t already have it installed, make sure you hit that link, download the program, and install it.

Once you have installed TI-Connect CE, open the program and plug your calculator into your computer using the charging cable. Now, just select the Calculator Explorer tab on the sidebar (the tab below the camera icon) to view a list of all of the files on your calculator. Drag the Pac-Man game file you downloaded into this list.
Finally, just press Send. Once it has sent, you can unplug your calculator.
Playing the Game
To launch the game, all you need to do is press the [PRGM] button (starting from your calculator home screen), and then select PACMAN from the menu. Press enter once more, and your game will launch!
